We have recently been gathering more experience using QRu as a tool to ease networking on conferences and events. After our first experience with putting QR code stickers on badges we’ve now officially cooperated for two events in Berlin: on November 16th we supported the 2012 Herbstveranstaltung of the VuV, a high-profile gathering of assent managers held in the very posh Adlon Hotel (see photo below).
QR Code, QR Code on the Wall…
The resourceful marketing officer of the VuV came up with an extremely smart idea: in addition to the QR codes on the name tags participants also displayed their QRu codes on a Networking Board.
Printing QR Code Name Tags On-site
We were also there and brought a terminal for last-minute sign-ups and a label printer for producing QR code name tags on-site.
Being at the event also gave us opportunity to talk to our user. That was inspiring, as it usually is when you get spontaneous reactions to your product. And especially so because the feedback was quite enthusiastic.
