We are proud to have contributed to the fund raising campaign of “Terms of Service; Didn’t Read”. This really is a wonderful idea: the aim is to give an indication about the quality of the terms for using a service from a consumer perspective. A classification is given to show which sites are more trustworthy than others. You can also see the key aspects of the ToS resulting in the classification, which we found very enlightening.

We have recently been through the process of compiling the ToS and Privacy Policy for QRu. It’s amazing how much you are forced to write just to fulfill legal requirements that no normal person will understand. And most likely not even read. So ToS are not only a pain for user but also for small start-ups like us.
